Quick Recipe : Fusili Spicy Tuna Sauce

Thought today I would share this quick and simple pasta recipe :D

Fusili Spicy Tuna Sauce

Ingredients :

450 gr      fusili pasta
300 gr      fresh tuna (I had canned tuna)
5 pcs        red chilli - sliced
1 pc         garlic - chopped
1 sheet     spring onion - sliced
200 gr      sweet corn
350 ml     chili sauce
200 ml     tomato sauce
10 sheets  lime leaves
1 tbsp       sugar
1 tsp         salt
1 stalk      lemongrass - crushed
2 vertebra galangal - crushed
2 tbsp       cooking oil
400 cc      hot water


Cooking Method :

  1. Cook fusili. Pour 450 gr fusili into 4,5 liters of boiling water. Add salt to taste, if desired. Stir gently and boil to 8-10 minutes. drain well.
  2. Stir fry the tuna, add lime leaves, red chillies, lemongrass, galangal, stir a moment.
  3. Add chilli sauce, tomato sauce, salt and sugar, sweet corn, stir evenly while adding water until slightly thickened.
  4. Add fusili, stir, sprinkle with chopped spring onion, serve immediately.
Serving : 4 portions

Very yummy pasta for lunch and I have to be honest, this is not my own recipe, I took this recipe from the fusili package :P
